    Project Outline

    Consara Construction Ltd were contracted by MYCO Construction to complete the demolition of a 3 storey former office block on a busy high street in Finchley, North London. This was part of a larger development to construct a new 8 storey building featuring 5 storeys of residential apartments and 3 storeys of commercial space.

    Scope of Works

    • Top down demolition of the former office building.
    • Design and installation of associated temporary works including demolition scaffold, propping system, weatherproofing and party wall structural support.
    • Removal of all below ground obstructions.
    • On site processing of demolition material to construct the working platform for piling operations.
    • Installation of drainage for temporary site welfare.

    • » Demolition works in a busy urban environment with 4 party wall locations across the site.
    • » Insufficient space for excavator access required Consara to plan and undertake hiab lift of excavator onto the roof of the structure for top down demolition.
